As I mentioned in my post: Sweet dreams!, I love to read before bed to relax and I find I do this way more often if I really enjoy the book I'm reading. So I thought I would share with you some of my all time favourite (mostly young adult) books! If you would like a part two let me know!
The first book I am going to talk about is Finding Audrey by Sophie Kinsella , this book is about a girl struggling with mental health but I find it is told in such a way that makes it a bit more light-hearted. This is such a wonderful book that I encourage you to read! Here is a small segment from the blurb : Audrey can't leave the house. She can't even take off her dark glasses inside the house. Then her brother's friend Linus stumbles into her life... This book is so good and I would highly recommend!
Next is the book Love and Gelato by Jenna Evans Welch,I mentioned this in my February favourites because I love this so much! It is a book about love and also loss and sadness, this was one of those books I just couldn't put down andI have already read it twice. The book is a story about a girl who's mother has passed away and her dying wish was for her daughter Lina to move to Italy. Here is a small segment from the blurb: Lina is spending the summer in Tuscany, fulfilling her mother's dying wish that she should get to know her farther. With the help of her mother's journal,Lina uncovers a magical world of secret romance, art and hidden bakeries. This book is so intriguing and I really felt like I got know the characters personality , it was like a romantic book but also very sad with a sense of adventure! I couldn't put this book down!
The next book I'm going to talk about is The fault in our stars by John Green, this book is very touching but also funny at the same time.It is also been made into an amazing film. It is a story about Hazel who suffers with terminal cancer who falls for Augustus Waters and then her whole life changes. The blurb says: Despite the tumour-shrinking medical miracle that has bought her a few years,Hazel has never been anything but terminal, her final chapter inscribed upon diagnosis. But when a gorgeous plot twist named Augustus waters suddenly appears at a Cancer Kid support group, Hazels story is about to be completely rewritten.
So that was my post about my favourite books, I hope you enjoyed! Sorry if I didn't describe the books very well but I hope you still liked it any way!
Be kind, Be you
