I thought I would show you how to make these delicious chocolate brownies that are a perfect Easter treat. Super simple but super delicious. They can be served warm with ice cream and strawberries for a yummy desert or served cold.
You will need:
150g plain flour
3 tbsp golden syrup
300g golden caster sugar
300g dark chocolate
1. Preheat the oven to 180c/160c fan or gas mark 4 . Line a 20cm by 33cm square tray bake tin with baking paper.Put the golden syrup,butter and sugar in a pan and set on a medium heat and warm, until the butter has meted and the sugar has dissolved. Remove from the heat and add the broken up chocolate.
2. When the chocolate has melted whisk in the eggs until the warm mixture is thick and velvety and then sift in the flour and then fold it in being very gentle.
3. Pour the mixture into the prepared tin and bake for 25-30 mins until a skewer comes out clean when inserted. Leave to cool and serve warm (heated up in microwave) with fresh cream and strawberries or leave to cool for a more fudgy texture.
